SOLO SHOW at the Katonah Village Library; REVIEW

“The new photography exhibit captures a sublime isolation in a way that is reminiscient of Edward Hopper, but somehow more imediately poignant, given the shared trauma and life-changing solitude of a global pandemic that has not yet fully healed.” (Read Review, below)

DINING ALONE In the Company of Solitude is visiting the Katonah Village Library in Katonah, NY. The artist opening was this Thursday, November 16th and the exhibit will run through December 16th. I was pleasantly surprised to have received a beautiful review by a Patch -Bedford, Katonah staff member; Jeff Edwards who said my long-term series reminded him of Edward Hopper. “The new photography exhibit captures a sublime isolation in a way that is reminiscient of Edward Hopper, but somehow more imediately poignant, given the shared trauma and life-changing solitude of a global pandemic that has not yet fully healed.” (Jeff Edwards; Journalist, Reviewer for Patch.com) What a wonderful compliment. I am forever grateful.

Included are a few installation shots & some snapshots of a most memorable evening. I also sold some signed books with a special edition print. (Visit my Shop for more information). This was my first monograph, published by Daylight Books.

A serendipity -Mark Rivera, Saxophonist, who plays in Billy Joel's band, performed at the Katonah Village Library this past Sunday night in the Garden Room Gallery, where I have my solo show. Flattered to see the pairing of music with my imagery. Thank you Mark Rivera and Topaz La Tourneau for the photos!

The show runs through December 16th if you feel like stealing away to Katonah NY.
