What an honor not only to have been selected for inclusion in the 2023 Alternative Processes Show at the Soho Photo Gallery (Elizabeth Avedon) but to have been awarded an Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all in the show -it was extraordinary. Special thanks to Elizabeth Avedon for the wonderful curation and to Myra Hafetz for the exhibition support.

In the 1980’s and 1990’s I made many polaroid transfers and emulsion lifts. The image below is a transfer from film to polaroid and then from polaroid to watercolor paper. I used a Daylab when I transferred film to polaroid. The polaroid image is of ‘By the Shore’ from my DINING ALONE In the Company of Solitude series.
