I’m so thrilled to have been included in the International Juried Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art, in Carmel, California. A huge Thank you to Elizabeth Avedon for including my work and thank you to Ann Jastrab (Executive Director) for executing this show. My portrait of Rich was taken during the Covid 19 Pandemic. I looked forward to opening our windows for the ‘Seven O’Clock Applause’ every evening during the pandemic. The applause was for all essential health care workers and later become an applause for all essential workers. It was a spirited moment and for me, ‘an emotional rescue’ that really helped me feel connected to my friends, neighbors and family, especially my dear mom who lived across town. The connection was powerful because it felt as though all of us, world-wide were connected in that moment.
