At Foley Gallery: Artist Talk and Book Signing →

My artist talk at Foley Gallery’s Book Launch was followed by a book signing, November 30th, 2022, at Foley Gallery. (59 Orchard Street at 7pm November 30th.) I spoke about my project DINING ALONE In the Company of Solitude' –how I formulated and evolved my concept, my process, and what inspired me to make the work. I shared how I ‘MAKE THE MAGIC REAL’ by taking a look at one of my behind the scenes productions.
Despite cold rainy weather, and a few that wrote beautiful notes to me that they had to cancel, I’m so grateful that there was a nice intimate group in the audience. Thank you to all who attended, to Michael Foley for hosting these beautiful book launch events, and to Chelsey Brandis (Gallery manager) for all of her support. I shared my story about why I chose this topic, how I executed it, why I expanded the scope of the project during the Covid Pandemic, and how I ‘Make the Magic Real.’

A special thank you to Rich for taking some of the great pictures, and for dining with me before the event at Dudley’s Restaurant on Orchard street. Thank you to Chelsey for taking the great pictures during the presentation.
